I am a BA Honours graduate from The University of Huddersfield; specialising in embroidery and surface design with a mission to create a luxury handmade home decor brand. I love creating unique products that show meaning and authenticity in the home.
The brand relies profoundly on the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi; a concept which I throughly explored in the final year of my degree. My mission is to apply this concept to my design processes; using the textures and marks from nature and the idea of finding the beauty in all aspects of natures imperfections.
I strive to create the most luxurious, high quality products with a neutral aesthetic at a reasonable price; allowing my products to find their way into more home interiors. My aim is to change peoples perception of modern decor, contrasting the Wabi Sabi philosophy with unconventional materials. Using natural, luxury fabrics and high quality art papers.
